Athletic Hall of Fame Nomination Form
Submission Deadline Tuesday, July 15, 2025
Induction Ceremony Saturday, November 15, 2025
 
The Crusader Hall of Fame recognizes alumni athletes, teams, and coaches who embody the Bishop Eustace Preparatory School motto "The Tradition is that of a Winner." The purpose of this distinguished honor is to celebrate the rich heritage and tradition of successful athletic accomplishments of Bishop Eustace Preparatory School. In addition, it will serve as a means of recognizing, preserving, and honoring the athletes, teams, and coaches who made significant contributions to our athletic programs.
 
Criteria for Nominations and Selection of the Induction Class
 
In order to maintain the integrity of the Hall of Fame, nominees must exemplify the highest standards of sportsmanship, ethical conduct, and moral character. All candidates will be judged on their significant and/or long term contributions to athletic endeavors. In addition, as much as possible, acknowledged leadership in his/her chosen field or community, state, and national presence will be considered. Candidates may be nominated as a player, a coach, or as a team by anyone. All entries must be submitted by July 15, 2023 for consideration.  The nomination form shall be available through Bishop Eustace website: www.Eustace.org/crusader-resources/alumni-resources

Qualified Alumni Athletes
  • A Hall of Fame candidate shall not be considered for the Hall of Fame until 10 years after graduation from Bishop Eustace Preparatory school
  • Criteria should include but not limited to the following:
  • Displayed outstanding character & sportsmanship on and off the field
  • Distinguished himself/herself in the field of athletics while a student at Bishop Eustace above and beyond the normal standards
  • Received recognition by the conference or state as an outstanding athlete
  • Displayed athletic leadership while playing at Eustace
  • Recognized as an all-around athlete in any sport while attaining personal accolades and team championships
  • An athlete that participated in college athletics and gained honors at this level and beyond may be considered as well.
Qualified Coaches (During their Tenure at Eustace)
  • A candidate shall not be considered for the Hall of Fame unless they served at least 5 years as a Coach at Bishop Eustace Preparatory School
  • Criteria should include but not limited to:
  • Established a long-winning tradition and reputation for integrity and leadership
  • Distinguished themselves as a coach who served above and beyond the normal standards.
  • Won multiple titles
Qualified Teams
  • A Team shall not be considered for the Hall of Fame until 10 years after graduation from Bishop Eustace Preparatory school
  • Criteria should include but not limited to:
  • Distinguished themselves above and beyond the normal standards. These may include: undefeated seasons, league championship, district championships, regional championships, and state tournament appearances.
  • Acknowledged by the media or outside clubs/association for extraordinary achievement
Selection of Hall of Fame Inductees
After the July 15, 2025 submission deadline, the Selection Committee will meet and discuss all of the parties under consideration. The 2025 Hall of Fame Selection Committee shall consist of five members: Kat Burke Esposito '99-Director of Institutional Advancement, Mike McGinn-Director of Athletics, Sam Tropiano-Administrator, Victoria Wishnick-Administrator, Mrs. Marylou Williams-Principal.
The Committee will vote on the nominees by August 1, 2025. Upon successful nomination, the Director of Institutional Advancement will contact nominees for their formal acceptance.

2025 Induction Ceremony
The 2025 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place on Saturday November 15, 2025 at 6pm in the Lulli Library on the campus of Bishop Eustace Preparatory School. Details of the event will be forthcoming.
