Theology Teacher

Bishop Eustace Preparatory School
Location: Pennsauken, New Jersey
Position Type: Full-Time, 10-Month Faculty Position
Salary Range: $55,000–$62,000, commensurate with education and experience.
Position Overview
Bishop Eustace Preparatory School seeks a dedicated, faith-filled, and enthusiastic Theology Teacher to join our faculty. The successful candidate will possess a strong commitment to Catholic education and the ability to engage students in meaningful discussions about Scripture, Catholic doctrine, morality, and the living tradition of the Church. This educator will inspire students to deepen their relationship with Christ while fostering intellectual curiosity and academic excellence.
Essential Responsibilities
  • Create engaging, student-centered lessons that encourage critical thinking, faith formation, and respectful dialogue.
  • Integrate Catholic values and the Pallottine charism into daily classroom instruction.
  • Collaborate with Theology Department colleagues, Pallottine Ministry, and school leadership to support the school's spiritual mission.
  • Encourage and support student participation in liturgies, retreats, service opportunities, and other faith-based activities.
  • Assess student learning through a variety of instructional and evaluative methods.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic progress.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, faculty, and administration.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and school events as required.
  • Support the broader mission and life of Bishop Eustace through active involvement in the school community.
Qualifications
  • Practicing Roman Catholic in good standing with the Church.
  • Bachelor's degree in Theology, Religious Studies, or a related field required.
  • Master's degree in Theology, Religious Education, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Teaching certification and/or previous high school teaching experience preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Catholic doctrine, Scripture, and Church traditions.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with high school students.
  • Commitment to the mission of Catholic education and the values of Bishop Eustace Preparatory School.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Salary: $55,000–$62,000 annually, commensurate with education and experience.

Bishop Eustace Preparatory School – Math Teacher
Bishop Eustace Preparatory School, a Catholic, co-educational, college-preparatory school, is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Math Teacher to join our faculty immediately. 
Responsibilities include:
  • Planning and delivering engaging, rigorous, and developmentally appropriate lessons in Mathematics
  • Fostering a classroom environment that promotes critical thinking, strong communication skills, and a love for mathematics.
  • Assessing and evaluating student performance through a variety of assignments and assessments.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in the Math Department and across disciplines to support student learning.
  • Integrating Bishop Eustace’s mission and values into classroom instruction and interactions with students.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Math, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • New Jersey Teacher Certification in Math (or eligibility for certification).
  • Strong knowledge of literature and composition pedagogy.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Bishop Eustace Preparatory School.
Salary Range: $52,000 – $60,000, commensurate with education and experience.
