About the Head of School
Mr. Angelo M. Milicia ’95 was appointed Head of School effective July 1, 2017, succeeding Brother James Beamesderfer, S.A.C., when his term as Headmaster ended on June 30, 2017. Mr. Milicia is the first lay Head of School and will oversee the implementation of a new strategic plan essential for the long-term future success of Bishop Eustace Preparatory School.
Mr. Milicia was raised in South Jersey and is a member of the Bishop Eustace Prep Class of 1995. He served as the Director of Institutional Advancement from 2014 through 2017. From 2000 to 2014, Mr. Milicia was a member of the Science Department, where he taught Biology, Honors Biology, Anatomy and Physiology and Chemistry. In addition to his classroom responsibilities, Mr. Milicia served as an Assistant Coach of the Ice Hockey team from 2000-2010 and held numerous positions within the school, including Transportation Coordinator, Co-Director of Summer Programs and served as one of the Internal Coordinators for two Middle States Accreditations.
Mr. Milicia received his bachelor’s degree from Villanova University in 1999 and earned his master's degree also from Villanova in 2007. While the Director of Institutional Advancement, he attended various seminars offered by the Council for the Advancement of Secondary Education and worked closely with Partners in Mission to evaluate best practices to advance the mission of Bishop Eustace.
