Daily Life

Students report to school by 8:10 a.m. for a 20-minute homeroom period. The first class begins at 8:35 a.m. There are eight 40-minute periods during the school day (with a five-minute passing time between classes), which ends at 2:30 p.m. Students may choose to spend their scheduled prep time in a resource area, in the library or outside in the quad. Activities, clubs and teams meet after school.

The Campus Ministry Office and the Pallottines coordinate the religious and spiritual education programs at Bishop Eustace. They are also available for counseling, family visitations and other one-to-one support for the school community. Daily liturgy is also available for the school community.

A nurse, available to students and staff during school hours, handles medical emergencies, dispenses physician-prescribed medication and updates student and staff health records.

The school year consists of two semesters. Bishop Eustace posts report cards online after each quarter and schedules one parent-teacher conference per year. In addition, Eustace administers exams in December and June. Upperclass students who maintain an A average in individual courses are eligible for exam exemptions from the June exams.
