The mission of the Library Media Program is to prepare students to become creative, capable, and ethical users of ideas and information, not only for college but for lifelong learning. To that end, school librarians collaborate with the teaching and technology staff to educate students in research skills. The library staff also acquires materials and implements services that support and enrich the curriculum.
The collection consists of approximately 15,000 volumes, as well as magazines, newspapers, and a plethora of electronic resources. Students have access to an online catalog, a growing collection of ebooks, and many college level scholarly databases.
Academic services include student access to laptops, calculators, cell-phone charging stations, and other educational A/V equipment. The Library provides students with numerous research computer workstations and printers, as well as a fully equipped computer lab, complete with a state of the art 3D printer. Group study rooms are available on request. The library has extended hours for students, and professional library staff are available at all times to assist student with homework and research projects.
