Eustace Grad Remembered at Cherry Hill Township War Memorial
05/29/13
The Cherry Hill Township War Memorial, located at the Municipal Complex on Mercer Street, was created to honor Cherry Hill residents who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our Country during War World II.  Over the years, the township has added other residents who lost their lives fighting in Vietnam and Korea. This year, Cherry Hill has rededicated this Memorial to honor those who have given their lives in the most recent conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Bishop Eustace lost alumnus, Captain Greg Dalessio '96 in 2008, who fought for our Country.  At the ceremony this year, we had special participation from student Maria Roscoe ‘14 who sang, God Bless America, in honor of all our fallen heroes.  Mr. Gianfortune performed taps with the Cherry Hill Police Department Rifle Squad during the Salute to those who have served in the Armed Forces.
Thank you to all the men and women who have served or are currently serving in our Armed Forces.
