The Great Gatsby Movie Review

On May 10th, the highly anticipated The Great Gatsby was released into theaters. Because the film was delayed from December to May, fans' expectations rose even higher for director Baz Lurhman's adaptation of Fitzgerald’s novel. Leonardo DiCaprio plays Jay Gatsby, a man who throws wild, exciting parties in order to entice an old flame away from her unfaithful husband and back into his arms. DiCaprio's performance is strong - he mastered the ability to exude confidence and paranoia simultaneously. (more)
Guidance Counselor College Visits

One of the main responsibilities of guidance counselors at Bishop Eustace Preparatory School is guiding students through the college research and application process. Knowing the “ins-and -outs” of the colleges where Eustace students apply most often is an important part of the job. To that end, guidance counselors visit college campuses to take tours, meet with Admissions Officers, and catch up with Eustace alumni to learn more about popular colleges and universities. (more)
Time is Running Out to Register for Eustace Advantage 05/17/13
Students entering grades 7 through 9 can experience what its like to be a Crusader this summer with the Eustace Advantage, a three-week program designed to review and strengthen skills needed for academic success. Students will experience academic life at Bishop Eustace with classes in English, Science, Social Studies, Mathematics and Technology. Students entering ninth grade will meet faculty and fellow classmates before classes officially begin in September.
