When Alex Saltsburg drained a 3-pointer with a little more than five minutes remaining to give Cherry Hill East High School a 12-point lead over Bishop Eustace, it was all but over.

"The girls' Basketball team hosted Timber Creek for their annual Crusader Day game on Thursday February 1st. Crusader Day is the team's way of thanking young female basketball players for their dedication to the game of basketball. In addition, the team celebrated the evening with a 68-30 victory over Timber Creek. The team rallied behind senior Lindsay Hudspeth on her quest to 1000 points which she achieved in the 1st quarter on a 3 point shot. Congratulations Lindsay for this special milestone and congratulations to all of the girls!"

Patients of Bob Falconiero should have seen a smiling man this morning.
It was a successful weekend for one of the area's most respected orthopaedic surgeons -- on the basketball court.
