Description |
This full year course stresses pronouncing, reading, writing and comprehending
the Latin language. Students study basic forms, syntax, and rules of Latin and
English grammar, and they learn the similarities and differences of both
languages. Students also study Latin vocabulary, roots, prefixes, and suffixes
in order to strengthen English vocabulary skills. In addition, students practice
reading and comprehending through short Latin readings about the people, places,
customs and mythology of ancient Rome. |
