HONORS PROGRAM

We place incoming ninth grade students into honors courses in Mathematics and Science based on a thorough reading of the student’s academic record.

Placement in Honors English I and Honors World History requires the student to sit for a placement test in English.

CUM LAUDE PROGRAM

Students whose ability, interest and achievement indicate the need for additional challenge may be invited to enroll in the Cum Laude Program, in which students in multiple honors courses may elect to do independent work beyond the required curriculum. All work for the project is done with the counsel and guidance of a faculty advisor.
